With training in both classical and modern music styles, combined
with a professional audio engineering and music production education,
Sean is a very versatile composer, musician and audiophile.
His work is able to communicate emotion and story in a powerful and moving way that still remains intimately aware of the needs and details of film and visual media. As a multi-instrumentalist and cross-genre musician, Sean is always excited to be involved with new projects that require music of any style.
Sean holds a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance from the University of British Columbia (2013) and graduated from Nimbus School of Recording and Media's Audio Engineering Program (2016), for which he was selected as the recipient of the Dylan Memorial Bursary to attend based on his original compositions and recordings.
From 2015 to 2016 Sean had the opportunity to intern at Monarch Studios under the guidance of Producer/Engineer/Musician Tom Dobrzanski (The Zolas, Said The Whale, We Are The City) and Producer/Engineer Elisa Pangsaeng (Said The Whale, Hey Ocean!, Redgy Blackout). Sean’s experience at Monarch allowed him to both hone his speed and proficiency as an audio engineer and to develop his skills as a composer, musician and music producer.
